1. Who we are
InternStayMalta is a housing service that helps international interns find short-term rental accommodation on Malta. The website internstaymalta.com is operated by Mijn Malta Stage, based in Malta.
For any questions about this privacy policy or your personal data, you can contact us at: yvo@internstaymalta.com
2. What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you use the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and message. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry about rental accommodation. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Rental enquiries
If you enquire about rental accommodation, we may collect additional information such as your preferred location, budget, arrival and departure dates, and internship details. This information is necessary to match you with suitable properties. The legal basis is performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Reviews
If you leave a review on our website, we store your name and review text. Reviews are published on the site to help other interns. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may request removal of your review at any time.
